| La Palma has an excellent public bus service connecting the main centres and the villages. The two "hubs" of the bus routes are Santa Cruz de La Palma and Los Llanos and there is regular service between the two towns, usually once per hour. Bus services from these two centres vary but in general about once every 2 hours. For bus routes and the bus timetable check out the bus company website at www.transporteslapalma.com The self-catering holiday homes listed below are all within a short walk from a bus stop and as such are suitable for people wanting to visit La Palma without hiring a car. Please check the times carefully as your route to and from your holiday accommodation may involve one or changes, which may not be possible when arriving with an evening flight, or leaving with an early morning flight. An alternative would be to get a taxi to and from the holiday home on the first and last day. A hire car will help you to reach some of the more attractive natural areas of La Palma but our clients who are unable to drive tell us that they have really enjoyed La Palma. |

| Many people think that La Palma is only for winter-sun holidays. Nothing could be further from the truth. Summertime is an excellent time to visit La Palma. The temperatures are almost always pleasantly warm and not too hot. La Palma does not have the unbearable summer heat waves typical of any Mediterranean areas. Good weather, it rarely rains and the temperatures are between 22C and 30C In the summer months there are village festivals and other activities .. all outside of course. | ||
